The stunning and secluded rocky cove of Marble Bar (Marble Bay/Le Pied du Mar) on Guernsey's east coast is one of my favourite locations and, as a consequence, this image is one of my all time favourites.

I had visited this location on numerous occasions (it's a fair walk to get there as far as Guernsey locations go) and never had the right tide, or weather or combination of both! So, imagine my joy when all the pieces fell in to place during this late summer sunrise at this idyllic location.
