A moody winter sunrise lights the granite walls of Fort Grey, Rocquaine Bay, as a high tide sweeps up the slipway.
Built in 1804, Fort Grey stands proud on Guernsey's west coast. The site of a former Château, it lies just off the mainland, seperated by a causeway and is affectionately known as the "Cup and Saucer" to locals. It was manned in both world wars but is now fully restored as a shipwreck museum.
